Hey, Errbody,

Well, this week has been lovely.  To start the week off, we worked with Zuster Mashburn and Zuster Maughn in Zoetemeer.  We made lunch together and then taught one of their investigators.  We have met with him a couple of other times when we’ve gone to Zoetemeer. We have seen how much progress he has made and I love seeing how people can change! That’s one of the coolest parts about being on a mission.

We met with one of our investigators named Boniface this week.  He has been in Africa for the past 3 months, but he is finally back.  We taught him the restoration again and invited him to be baptized.  He wants to be baptized which is great! But we still need to help him understand exactly what baptism is.  A lot of the people we teach think that once they are baptized, they are saved! Boom. Done. Haha that would sure be a lot easier!

We met with Sandy this week and are trying to help her learn how to study in the scriptures.  She is a recent convert so the scriptures are really hard for her to understand because she doesn’t have that religious background.  We had a little study session with her and taught her how to use the Bible Dictionary and Topical Guide.

We taught Erfan this week and finished teaching the Plan of Salvation lesson in Dutch.  It is really helping her with the language as she is learning the gospel.  We just have to teach super slowly and simply.  She gives online seminars every week, so she can’t come to church for the next couple of months.  We are still trying to find a solution for that.  Please pray for her that she will be able to find a solution so that she will be able to come to church!

This week was Sinter Klass (Dutch Christmas).  We ate with a member and all of the missionaries and did a white elephant gift exchange with each other.  Luckily, the Dutch people also celebrate not only Christmas, but a 2nd Christmas on the 26th as well.  That’s one thing they are doin right!

We have some great activities planned this week so it is gonna be a great week.

Enjoy the holidays everybody! Peace.
