4th letter from Geel, Belgium -- Week 93

We played the game where you have to ask yes or no questions about the person on your forehead and then guess who it is.  We both had James Bond and didn't even know it.  Look at the comp unity!  Elder Waters and Elder Steenblik

Hello Dames,

I hope that you all had a lovely conference weekend! We had a great one here.  This week has been a pretty basic one with nothing too crazy.  We had a couple of lessons and did a lot of finding.

We had an exchange this week which was awesome.  I have missed going on exchanges! I went from doing four exchanges a week to one a month.  Quite a change.  I was with Elder Mackay and we had a great time.

The weather has been fantastic this week because it’s starting to get a little warmer.  We’re still getting tons of rain but at least it is not freezing!

We were able to see all of the conference sessions except for the Sunday afternoon session because of the time change.  It was a great conference.  They talked a lot about the temple which is great because we will be having our zone conference next week and we get to go to the temple in the Netherlands.

It has been weird getting used to the Belgian culture again! For example, if a Dutch person doesn't want something, they have no problem telling you to “go away” and slamming the door.  Belgians are a lot nicer, but they are not as nice as Americans where they will say “yes” just to not hurt your feelings.  They just get super awkward and don’t know what to say because the whole time they are trying to think of a way out of the situation.  We are still trying to crack the code to how Belgian people think!

Well, life is good and Elder Waters and I are doin just dandy here.  Have a sick week!
